Project Serve LA – Update & Student List

We're so excited about the heart behind this year’s Project Serve LA option — a unique chance for students to engage with one of the most meaningful and impactful parts of the Calbreak experience.

At this time, we are still waiting to hear back from Union Rescue Mission to confirm whether our group is officially approved to volunteer. As soon as we receive confirmation, we will send out a direct link for students to onboard and register for volunteering with them.

If, for any reason, the Union Rescue Mission opportunity doesn’t work out, we do have a backup plan to serve with Los Angeles Mission, which offers a similar opportunity for meaningful hands-on service.

POLICY AND PROCEDURE:

Dress Code: appropriate and comfortable- no tank tops, open toed shoes, tight clothing, halter tops or skirts above the knee.

Personal Information: Please do not share your personal information with students (residents in our program) or guests. (Phone numbers, social media, emails, address).

Student/Volunteer/Staff Relationships: Please keep all relationships between staff, students (residents in our program) and volunteers strictly professional while in or on Los Angeles Mission property.
